Town/Country : U.K. Scooter Club: Two Stroke Runners S.C. Scooter Model: 1973 Lambretta GP 200 Inspiration: the 80s! Engine: The head, barrell and piston are Rapido 225 with a 34mm, Original DJ Power Pipe, Loads of Chrome Anything to say: The frame for the Scoot was given to me by a mate, and rather than let it sit in the garage, I thought I'd re-create a typical 80's cutdown scoot, using parts that were available then. After much searching I found a brand new DJ Power Pipe, and Paul from Get Smart scooters sold me his 80's AF 250 motor. The chrome was done by Karl Russell and Pete Robinson. Paul at Get Smart scooters in Bristol painted the scoot, and manufactured the cutdown Vespa legshield toolbox. The electrics and cables run thru the frame, and the coil etc... reside in the toolbox. There's still some work to be done on the engine as the carb is WAY too big !!! and I'm currently using a tank of juice every 30 miles or so !! Will probably drop down to a 34mm Amal, or a square slide Delorto if I can find one !! Next after sorting the carb will probably be some murals, not sure what subject, either 80's Porn Star Ginger Lynn or 80's cult hero DangerMouse. Other Scooters: 1968 Lambretta
SX 200, Vespa P 200.
