Vittorio Tessera's day out

I took the opportunity my mate Dean had to go in Milan puachasing a batch of spares for his work to pay a visit at Vittorio's museum I've never seen, though I've been knowing him for 15 years and well remember when he brought his scooters out for meetings and rallies. These are some snaps from his impressive collection now put into a proper museum owing to the help of the City of Rodano.

A prototype even in Moto Guzzi's factory can't help tracing down details

Not the best picture but the speedo shows only 11 kms!
Vittorio found this GP 125 new never been on the road and he did 11 kms. just to feel the fun of riding a brand new Lambretta
The last version the the 250 cc twin motorcycle
Lambretta twin prototype special disk brake drum. There was another version on the other twin he also own (engine under restoration) slightly different.
He told me many tips about the prototype; I have seen it in the 80s, but never noticed the engine on this version is longer; you can notice the upper standard mount for the rear suspension has been cut and another welded, the rear frame is longer too. This was for allowing a 12" wheel to be mounted, but tests showed no difference between the standard and the higher wheel. Unlike you hear around Vittorio's state is runs very well.
While he says they had big troubles trying to set up the motorcycle and often they just took pics but it didn't run correctly; just pics for publicity. I remember me talking to an old dealer near where I live and he said they worked all one night trying to get the bike ready for a race in the Misano circuit, but they weren't able to get the bike running well for racing.
Some other makes of scooters on display
The Lambretta for 1960 Rome olympic games
Would you believe he just found this original beauty with only 8.000 kms on the clock??!!! Couldn't believe my eyes!
Brazilian made special cutdown
This has been imported straight from San Paulo region
There are not a lot of Vespas in the museum, but a 98 (not in the pic) and a GS 150 couldn't be missed
